We welcome all prospective cadets and staff into 871 (Penn) Squadron.

We do advise that you make contact with us before attending for the first time, this way we can make sure someone is there to greet you and that it is a suitable night for you to come.

Our Squadron Headquarters is behind the school on the playing fields(light blue single story building).

Directions:

Enter Sir William Ramsay School by the left entrance nearest the youth club,
Follow the road up and to the right past the green gates,
Park if required,
Walk through the green gates,
Follow the path round to the right and continue until you get to 2 green tempory classrooms,
Turn left and follow path to the Squadron Headquaters.

One of the many opportunities the ATC offers is flying and gliding for all cadets. You'll go on Air Experience Flights which last 30 minutes each, you can even have the chance to fly solo before you can drive a car! Learn more...

After completing dry training you'll have the chance to fire on a live range. You can perfect you skills to achieve several marksmen standards and represent your Squadron in competitions.
